Almost 7 years ago, we came to North Hill Private School with our daughter Gabby. Leaving your child in someone's care for the first time is always a daunting proposition, and I remember that feeling of anxiety as I drove out of the parking lot on those first few days, North Hill was exceptional, in so many ways. Gabby's first teacher, Miss Boccia, was so patient and caring and made that first year so enjoyable for Gabby. Back then, the school only had the east wing-construction of the addition took place while we were here. As the school grew, so did our family, and in 2005 our son Max started at North Hill. He was a bit more challenging, but grew into a fine student, particulary under the caring guidance of Miss Pepe. She has been a big influence on both Gabby and Max and I can't think of a better model!! Miss Kiernan and Miss Verna encouraged the kids to stretch their minds and Ms. Lily has been such a comforting influence on Max. The staff are like a part of our family. These special people and this very special place have made a difference for Gabby and Max. They are inspired to learn and have been encouraged to express themselves in language, art and music. Their love of learning and their love of North Hill is a reflection of all the school has done for us. And for this, I am grateful. Our strong memories of North Hill days will stay with us. We will miss you very much.

Curriculum - General Overview

North Hill offers a variety of advanced, flexible programs for children 18 months to 12 years of age.
Flexible Programs:
The following programs are available:
Toddler to Grade 3 ( Maple Campus) Toddler to Grade 6 (Woodbridge Campus). Half day and and full day programs are available. Parents may choose from a * 2 day, **2 day alternative Friday, ***3 or 5 days based upon availability and program requirements. The school runs from September to June and generally follows the public school calendar. North Hill also offers a March Break Camp and a Summer Camp.
*Please note that the two day program is Tuesday and Thursday.
**Alternate Program is available only for JK and SK - Mon/Wed. or Tues/Thurs. and alternate Fridays.
***Three day program is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Program choices may vary year to year. |
